Eagle Lake, MN

60,219 Square Feet

Community access, the need for more space and improved security were just a few of the priorities for the school expansion and renovation projects completed in cooperation with Wold Architects & Engineers. This community’s growing population necessitated the latest expansion which provides several new classrooms; art and media rooms; as well as a new main entry. New lockers and an expanded kitchen area were also added for the community’s use.

The main entrance is equipped with enhanced security features and a well-located administrative office area that is in a more visible location for visitors when they arrive at the school. A new computer lab gives students better access to technology and an expanded cafeteria allows more students to be accommodated at lunchtime. The cafeteria is also designed to be utilized for student activities when the gymnasium is occupied. New changing rooms located next to the gymnasium are available for community use after school hours to maximize on the public’s investment.

Previously, a 1993 project included an eight classroom expansion to the building, along with a new multi-stage gymnasium, media center, kitchen and cafeteria.
