Poultry Laying Facility

Poultry Laying Facility

Determining the site for large scale animal feeding facilities is complex due to state permitting requirements, state mandated separation distances, county zoning requirements, on-site stormwater management, and good public and private access. Experience in the siting, layout, design, permitting, and construction of large animal feeding operations, including poultry laying facilities, is critical.

Using GIS mapping assists the owner in preliminary siting. Once a potential site is identified, a field review is performed to identify potential soil or drainage issues. Once selected, a complete topographic survey is completed in order to consider building elevations, drainage, and yardage balances for site grading. In addition to site development, our staff is able to design waste management treatment systems, domestic wastewater treatment, and water supply and distribution systems.
