Methodical and reflective, Chris DeWaal brings a broad background in electrical design and engineering management to his leadership role in ISG’s Electrical Engineering Group. Specializing in analysis of electrical requirements for all types of facilities, and developing innovative and economical solutions, Chris works closely with all of ISG’s in-house disciplines to solve electrical system puzzles in a timely manner and within budget.
With experience working across dynamic public and private sectors from government and commercial to industrial and health-care, Chris has led electrical system design for projects ranging in scale from single floor updates to multi-million square foot manufacturing campuses. His specialized experience working with large industrial based enterprises adds significant value to any industrial expansion project, and translates in his management of cross-market projects of similar scale.
In addition to his experience designing medium- and low-voltage power systems, lighting, and control systems for all types of buildings, Chris also provides electrical studies including arc flash, as well as electrical safety training instruction to meet national fire protection safety standards. These efforts help businesses maintain vital power systems while providing safe working environments for employees.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and additionally holds both a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Engineering Management from Kansas State University. He lives with his wife and lively dachshund Vasily in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
