Clean Energy Collective Solar

Clean Energy Collective Solar

Considered the first community-owned solar facility in the state of Wisconsin, the Westby site is the result of a partnership with a local provider and national community solar developer Clean Energy Collective (CEC). This model allows any member in its service territory the opportunity to own individual panels in a new locally-sited, utility-scale solar PV array. The Colby, Kansas project covers eight acres of pasture and is the largest photovoltaic array in the State.

For both projects, ISG designed the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and submitted the necessary application materials to be granted a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. While our services were environmentally focused, the value we brought was our expertise in getting these application materials produced quickly and thoroughly so there were no delays in the approval process. ISG submitted the application within a week of being given the notice to proceed by the client. In addition, our responsiveness to the client’s needs allowed piers to be installed at the optimal time for seasonal variations to ground conditions.
